Well hello this is me, It’s always nice to know a bit about the person behind the lens and how photography became my passion.
As a photographer based in Buckinghamshire i grew up in the beautiful Chiltern Hills. This is where i spent lots of time walking , mountain biking and was very much a child of the outdoors.Now I’m in my 30’s I never travel anywhere without one type of camera or other slung in a bag or over my shoulder. I’m a bit of a geek, shopaholic, i drink coffee not tea (one sugar in mine please but I’m trying to cut down! ) and am in the “hate-it” camp for marmite, oddly though i like the crisp’s!
I have a passion for photography and blend this with my inner geek to ensure I use the best equipment and editing to create beautiful natural emotive images. I love to push myself, try new things and never stop learning or getting new ideas. The best part of photography for me is that things are always changing, You think fast on your feet, work with the environment around you to bring everything together, its fast, fun and exciting!
There is so much in life to see and remember. I have those great childhood memories of Dad changing rolls of film, packing the old one off to the chemist and getting back that exciting sleeve containing 30 odd images and seeing my face and the rest of the family printed on shiny paper! there was always the odd ones “to finish the roll” off dads feet or the dogs or was that just my dad that always did that ?
Now as an adult there is the enjoyment of seeing all those good times and happy memory’s in my Mum and Dads photo albums. As a photographer what really motivates me is to see someone reaction to a moment frozen in time, just for them. It always a triumphant moment when down the barrel of a camera, I think “that’s the one!” and I to become part of the history of that image and next memory for people to see for years.
This is why it’s so important our images are looked after, printed and cherished for years to come. I will provide you with beautify edited images keeping that memory with you forever. I can provide canvas, printed books, frames, USB keys or even a webpage to share your images.
